With Pride Month approaching in just a few weeks, Nike is cementing its commitment to gender and sexual expression through the expansion of its annual “BE TRUE” collection. While a number of all-new toolings and revitalizations have been set forth by the Beaverton brand, the late 2022 return of the Nike Terminator is joining the LGBTQIA+ supportive banner.
In opposition to the recently revealed iridescent SB Dunk Low counterpart, the high-top staple of the mid-80s opts for a tonal makeover as beige-treated flat leather overlays surround the upper’s crisp white tumbled base layer. Set atop a vintage cream midsole, the heel’s iconic enlarged “NIKE” lettering receives a touch from a rainbow-inspired palette infused with a pastel finish while “BE TRUE” branding attributes the tongue tabs and insoles.
Release date information has yet to be confirmed, so in the meantime enjoy official images of the Nike Terminator High “BE TRUE” below alongside the pair’s specially crafted box and added charm bracelet.
In other news from underneath the Nike Inc. banner, the Nike Mac Attack from 1984 is set to return in a “Light Smoke Grey” colorway.
